Assignment and Assessment Design to Promote Academic Integrity

This 4-day intensive workshop builds faculty knowledge about course design factors that enhance student self-efficacy and increase the promotion of academic integrity. Assignment and Assessment Design to Promote Academic Integrity reviews evidence-based teaching strategies for designing or revising course assignments to enhance students' learning, critical thinking, and reflection practices.

This workshop explicitly addresses how faculty can mitigate academic dishonesty through course curriculum design.

I commit to participate in the following activities related to this workshop: 1) I will complete supplemental material--additional short readings and assignments that extend faculty learning; 2) I will attend 4 days of 2-hour in-person or hybrid sessions Mon-Thurs, Aug 1-4, from 9:30-11:30am; 3) I will submit reflections about change(s) I may make in my courses based on what I learned as part of this experience, and offer suggestions to workshop leaders for improving this and future workshops.
