Team Learning Basics - Winter 2024
February 12 - March 10 | Fully online
Workshop Description
This four-week, fully online, asynchronous workshop will focus on best practices for creating, managing, and assessing team learning activities in higher education classrooms. Participants will discuss the benefits and challenges of team learning, explore team learning models and methods, and determine when and why you might include team activities in your classes.
Assignments and Due Dates
This workshop is fully online with weekly assignments due on Sundays and some discussions due on Wednesdays. Two assignments will involve working on a small team with your cohort peers to complete a short activity. These will be synchronous activities via Zoom or another medium of your choice, during a time of your choosing. For the final assignment, you will apply what you've learned by creating a team learning activity for one of your classes and conducting a peer review for a colleague.
