Faculty Associates for Accessible Course Materials (Winter 2026)

Program Description

CTLT’s Faculty Associates for Accessible Course Materials support their colleagues in building skills to address common issues related to accessible course materials. Faculty Associates were selected based on their commitment to course materials accessibility and their interest in providing peer-led guidance and support.

Faculty Associates have received hands-on training through CTLT focused on key principles of digital accessibility and using Canvas tools for accessible course materials. They are available to facilitate the Essential Skills for Accessible Course Materials workshop in department meetings and other faculty gatherings. Additionally, they can host open work sessions that support faculty in improving course materials accessibility in advance of the April 24, 2026 Title II ADA compliance deadline. Departments can request support from a Faculty Associate for Accessible Course Materials by filling out the accessibility workshop request form.
