Custom GPTs for your course

This hands-on workshop, "Custom GPTs for Your Course," demonstrates the process of building Custom GPTs using ChatGPT’s creation tools. Participants learn how to turn their existing course materials into interactive AI assistants designed to support students with content clarification, study help, and course navigation.

This workshop offers an overview of Custom GPTs and their classroom applications, a demonstration of a course-based GPT, a step-by-step guide to exporting Canvas course materials and preparing them for GPT integration, and testing and refining GPTs with realistic student queries.

If you’d like to gain hands-on experience with the ChatGPT “Create a GPT” interface, please RSVP and join us and you’ll leave with a working prototype GPT ready for testing and student use. Lunch is provided for those who RSVP, and a Zoom option will be available as well. Space is limited.
