Improve your Course Accessibility with TidyUP & Ally - Winter 2025

TidyUP is a tool in Canvas that can help you identify and remove outdated or unused documents, images, folders, pages, assignments, and more. This handy tool can help you quickly and efficiently improve your course accessibility! This one-week online workshop offers participants hands-on experience using TidyUP, as well as experience using the Ally dashboard to identify and fix inaccessible Canvas content.

Workshop dates for Winter 2025

This one-week workshop is offered during the following weeks:

  • January 27-February 2
  • February 3-9
  • February 10-16
  • February 24-March 2
  • March 3-9

Workshop learning outcomes

By the end of this workshop you will be able to:

  1. Remove unused Canvas content with TidyUP.
  2. Identify inaccessible course content using Ally.
  3. Create an Accessibility Action Plan.

Time commitment: 6-8 hours, depending on skill level.
Stipend: $100 for eligible participants.
