Workshop Description
Universal Design for Learning (UDL) Guidelines is a research-based framework educators can use to proactively address the needs of diverse students in ways that benefit everyone. This four week fully online asynchronous workshop provides participants with strategies to apply the principles of UDL to course materials, activities, and assessments to improve learning experiences for all students. $500 stipend for eligible participants.
Workshop Dates
This four-week fully online workshop takes place January 21-February 16, 2025.
Assignments and Due Dates
This workshop includes weekly assignments due on Fridays and Sundays to accommodate your teaching schedules. Weekly reflection discussions will connect you with your colleagues during the workshop.
Time Commitment and Stipend Information
This workshop is designed for faculty who currently teach at Cal Poly. Time commitment is 6-8 hours per week for a total of 24-32 hours, depending on prior knowledge, skill level, and experience. A $500 stipend is available for faculty who complete all readings, quizzes, and assignments with an 80% minimum grade on each.
