Creating Accessible PowerPoint - Spring 2025
Workshop Description
Accessibility is the key to creating inclusive learning spaces for students with disabilities. This one-week fully online workshop provides faculty with hands-on experience creating accessible PowerPoint, in alignment with the requirements and standards set by the CSU Accessible Technology Initiative, Federal Law, and Web Accessibility Guidelines. $100 stipend for eligible participants.

This one-week workshop is offered during the following weeks:
- April 28-May 4
- May 5-11
Workshop learning outcomes
By the end of this workshop you will be able to:
- Explain why course materials need to be accessible for students with disabilities.
- Identify Federal, State, and Cal Poly accessibility requirements.
- Create an accessible PowerPoint and convert it to PDF.
Time commitment: 5-8 hours, depending on skill level.
Stipend: $100 for eligible participants.
