Cohort Purpose
To provide an extended professional development experience deepening knowledge and skills for learner-centered teaching. It's designed for faculty (lecturers and tenure-line) at any career stage and from any discipline seeking to implement a more learning-centered model of course design and instruction.
Cohort Profile
- 16 members successfully completed the ACUE curriculum and have earned a Certificate in Effective College Instruction awarded jointly by the Association of College and University Educators and the American Council on Education.

ACUE Microcredentials Earned (updated 7/1/21)
Participants could earn four ACUE Microcredentials in this program. Completing all four earns a Certificate in Effective College Instruction, awarded in collaboration with the American Council on Education. ACUE Microcredentials are:
- MC 1: Creating an Inclusive and Supportive Online Learning Environment
- MC 2: Designing Student-Centered Courses
- MC 3: Promoting Active Online Learning
- MC 4: Inspiring Inquiry and Preparing Lifelong Learners
