New Faculty Foundations, Thursday, September 12, 2024
The Center for Teaching, Learning, and Technology is hosting the annual New Faculty Foundations event to kick off the fall term. This event is for all newer faculty (lecturers and tenure-line) to connect you with other newer faculty, and provide guidance to help you prepare for the start of the academic year.
New faculty will meet the CTLT staff, hear Provost Jackson-Elmoore’s Welcome Message, attend an interactive faculty panel, and listen to keynote speaker Dr. Denise Isom, Interim Vice President for Diversity and Inclusion and Chief Diversity Officer. Participants will have multiple opportunities throughout the day to connect with their cohort of new colleagues. Lunch is included and the afternoon will wrap up with sweet treats and browsing tables provided by the CTLT's Campus Resource Partners.
