New Faculty Foundations, Wednesday, September 10, 2025

The Center for Teaching, Learning, and Technology (CTLT) is hosting our annual New Faculty Foundations event to kick off the fall term. This event is for all new faculty (lecturers and tenure-line, including those starting in Winter or Spring 2025 in addition to Fall 2025). It is an opportunity for you to connect with other new faculty and learn important information helpful to a smooth start to the academic year.

Participants will meet the CTLT staff, will be welcomed by the Provost, hear from and converse with a faculty panel, and hear key speakers from Academic Innovations and Programs, Student Success, Academic Personnel, and the Division of Research. Participants have multiple opportunities throughout the day to connect with their cohort of new colleagues. Breakfast and lunch are included, plus the afternoon wraps up with sweet treats, mingling, and an opportunity to learn about campus resources at a table fair with representatives from the CTLT's Campus Resource Partners.

Date: Wednesday, September 10, 2025
Time: 8:30 am to 4:00 pm
Location: The Academic Technology Lab (ATL) (click for map)
